About us

Meet the team!

Tracey: Some of you may know that my mom started this store in 1969. Stony Plain was quite a different town back then! I bought her business in 1992 when she retired. I was 27 years old, full of energy, hopes and dreams. My parents moved to Quebec for 1 ½ years, leaving me in the hands of her team of ladies. They taught me everything they knew about quality, customer service, and this roller-coaster ride of retail! I had no idea how much I would love this business! Not only is it so much fun to “play” with clothes and accessories, so many customers I now call friends. I’m glad this is a place where women can laugh and cry (sometimes in the same day) and feel comfortable. There is no way I could have done this without an amazing group of talented women who treat this store as if it’s their own. I’m thankful for them and each customer who has given us the chance to serve them. I can’t believe how fast the years have gone by and all the changes along the way. I still feel full of energy (most days!) and am grateful that the women of this area took a chance on me.

Janice: Hi, My name is Janice, I was raised on a farm south of Stony and then in later years moved into Stony Plain with my family.
I would shop with my Mom in the store and later for myself, so when I was given the opportunity to work in Village Fashions I was quite excited.
It will be 8 wonderful years this fall that I have had the pleasure along with my awesome co-workers, to serve our great customers in helping them find outfits for that special occasion or just to find that perfect top. Tracey is very caring and honest and runs her store with those qualities, so please do come in, we would love to see you!

Victoria: I started at Village Fashions in September 2018, so I’m the “new duck” in the pond. Lucky for me, Tracey was kind enough to let me be apart of the great team she has created here over the years.
A smidge about my past; I grew up in the hustle and bustle of Spruce Grove and graduated from Spruce Grove Composite High School! I took the things I learned throughout my schooling and decide to embark on the adventure that was… trade school! NAIT to be exact. I graduated from NAIT with a certificate of Graphic Communications and was ready for the world!
After a few years of learning amazing things from different companies, I took my skills and started at Village Fashions where I have found comfort, friendly people and most importantly somewhere I am happy to be daily.

Mary: Greetings! After retiring from my fun-filled career in the early childhood field I was looking for another fun and rewarding opportunity. I feel very fortunate to have found that at Village Fashions. Working here with the team of Tracey, Marian, Janice and Victoria is wonderful. I enjoy their company, their advice, and the laughter and fun they bring to Village Fashions. I also enjoy meeting and helping all of the amazing clients who walk through our doors. It is a true pleasure to spend time with you and see how incredible you look in our clothes. I am very happy to be a part of the Village Fashion’s family!
